“‘in-between’ represents a ‘state of continuous changes’ in the time axis. The exhibits of the exhibition give a pause to these changes, and reveal the urban scape interwoven by different dimensions.”

– Ar Professor Paul Chu.

“‘in-between’ means ‘interim’, ‘non-polarized’;in urban renewal process, ‘organic and spontaneous’ urban responses help enriching the monotonous result brought about by the ‘top-down’ development model otherwise.”

– Mr Kan Chan.

“‘in-between’ describes ‘a position between two poles or categories’; it can be the pronoun of an open space in a denseurban fabric, or provisional and informal artefacts constructed in the city.”

–Ar Jacky Cheung.
